Hmmm, I'm not really sure to understand your question!
If you're talking about the R2d2 service, about computer settings or about virtual screen settings, they are shared by all desktops (virtual or not). Just use the "Settings" option of the VDT menu, and then the item you want to configure.
Managing Virtual Desktop Toolbox settings is a bit more complicated (use the "Settings" and then "Virtual Desktop Toolbox" options of the VDT menu). The default desktop and all virtual desktops dynamically share the same settings (remember that virtual desktops are created within the default one). However, each non virtual desktop has its own settings.
The first time a non virtual desktop is created, it uses as default settings the same settings as the default desktop; but once created, a non virtual desktop uses its own settings and, actually, you cannot re-apply the default ones.
