I am a registered user for a few days now. I have not had any problems to speak of. I was wondering if it is possible to run a program like goscreen in two desktops. One desktop would be logged in as some other user. If you do not know what goscreen is, it's a Virtual Desktop Manager.
Thanks
Note from R2d2 Software: we prefer not having direct links to products in our forum; that's why we removed this link in the message above and here is a more general link that gives choice to readers who are looking for a virtual desktop manager: http://www.download.com/Virtual-Desktop-Managers/3150-2346_4-0.html
What we understand is that GoScreen creates desktops just like Virtual Desktop Toolbox creates its virtual desktops; virtual desktops (or GoScreen desktops) are created within the default desktop and windows are hidden/displayed depending on the virtual desktop used.
Yes, I am *very* familar with many VDM's and IMO, goscreen is the best.
Your description of how goscreen works is correct. I will have to try it a few desktops see how it works.
Btw, the removal of the link to the goscreen site is a surprise. The link was meant as a means for *you* to test my question yourself. Now, I have to ask: Are you against *all* links to any products or just those that are to other VDM product sites? I think you may need to post a "rules" item so that we know what is expected. Sorry about breaking this "rule".
