The R2d2 Kernel Authority service can be managed if all conditions below are true:

1) You have administrative privileges over the computer,
2) You are currently within the default desktop or within a virtual desktop,
3) You're the first user who opened a session on the computer (console session).

If one condition is false, the option is grayed within the VDT menu.
