How to avoid "balloons"

Hello,


I'm using software such as Outlook 2003, Skype etc which use balloons to notify when mail arrives, someone loggs in etc. How can aviod this balloons in a virtual desktop? I've turned off explorer as the shell.

This is unfortunately a third-party software behavior; VDT can't prevent these programs from displaying windows when they want to do so
