Mouse Switch Mode Dimmed

I upgraded from 2.5 to 2.62.3 and now my Mouse Switch Mode option is dimmed and unavailable. If viewing the Attribute values in the right pane of Desktops Explorer the option reads "Mouse left button click" but the function is not active. Please help. Thanks.

This option is unavailable if you are using multiple monitors on the same computer. Is this your current configuration?

Yes, it is. It worked great before with two monitors. I would switch desktops using the top and bottom borders of the main monitor. If this can't be fixed how can I revert to the previous version? Thanks.

Don't revert back to the previous version. I will do the change in order to enable again this feature by editing the registry.

Please download the latest version here  http://www.r2d2-software.com/VDT/VDTSetup.EXE (I didn't change the release number) and install it.

You then have to manually enable the mouse switch. Run the registry editor (RegEdit.exe), go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\R2d2KernelAuthority\Parameters key and create a REG_DWORD value called MouseSwitchEnabledOnMultipleMonitors with a value set to 1.

Restart your computer.
