To uninstall, use either the "Uninstall Virtual Desktop Toolbox" item in your start menu (Start Menu\Programs\Virtual Desktop Toolbox"), or the "Add/Remove software" option in your control panel.
To disable without uninstalling, just set the R2d2 Kernel Authority service as disabled ("Settings" and then "R2d2 Kernel Authority" options of the VDT menu, service state to "Disabled" and then Ok); .
To manually remove Virtual Desktop Toolbox (BUT NOT RECOMMENDED METHOD, so use it at your own risk!), see below.
CAUTION: Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. R2d2 Software cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
To manually remove Virtual Desktop Toolbox (BUT NOT RECOMMENDED METHOD!), first restart your computer and log on as Administrator.
Delete the folder "C:\Program Files\R2d2 Software" and the registry keys "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\R2d2 Software", "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\R2d2 Software" and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\R2d2KernelAuthority".
If it exists, delete the VDTRegisteredAutoRun value within the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key.
