Remember Desktop Explorer Changes

Please fix Desktop explorer so that changes entered there are permanent. I have done a poor job of listing the items whose change is only for the current session, but they include window names, program names and window wallpaper selections.

Thank you.

I have difficulties to undestand the problem. Can you either describe it a bit more or send screenshots to support@R2d2-Software.com

Thank you

I believe his point is the same one that I'm seeing.

I start up VDT and the AutoRun for my user name is run. I now have my working envionment.

I make some changes to the current session under Desktops. It might be any number of things I've customized, maybe even adding new [virtual] desktops.

Now, I'd like the changes to be permanent but they aren't since the changes were made in the current session, not in the AutoRun.

AutoRun is fine when you really want to use multiple environments but many of us are typically only using one runtime environment. If this is the case, we want the changes we made automatically restored the next time we start.

Basically an automatic propagation of the changes to the AutoRun that instantiated our sessions. Automatic, not a save, though there is some benefit to having manual with save changes back to the autorun plus an automatic save to the autorun.

Thanks,
-dana

This is a good suggestion and I will try to work on it soon.
