In several places you provide a warning that something either special or with significant consequences is about to happen, and allow the user to proceed or cancel, or make some other choice. In each of those cases there is a checkbox that says, "Don't ask this question again and just use my answer now as the default for forever."
I have learned enough to regret checking one or two of those "make this the default" checkboxes. Is there a way to edit or reset those choices?
Thanks. And once again, thank you for some marvellous software.
Please run the registry editor (Regedit.exe) and delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\R2d2 Software\Virtual Desktop Toolbox\User interface\<DesktopName>\Don't Ask Again key, where <DesktopName> is a desktop name (for example Default for the default one).
CAUTION: Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. R2d2 Software cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
