I'm using VDT 2.52 and I love the sticky pin feature. However, the pin is not displayed in Lotus Notes caption (but it is displayed in all other windows). Did I do something wrong?
Displaying a pin in windows' caption is not so easy as it seems to be. The first step is to identify if the window is as visible top-level window. This works fine with most of windows, but some programs (for example Lotus Notes) are a bit strange. Lotus Notes creates a visible top-level window that is, in fact, not visible (outside the screen? 0-sized?) and that is the parent window of all other windows. This way to work is so strange that I cannot identify the window where I have to draw the pin.
However, the sticky pin in caption is just a shortcut to make a window sticky or to add/remove this window to/from a virtual desktop. The same actions can be achieved using the Desktops Explorer (use rules in computer properties to define a window as sticky).
