Virtual desktop is just installed on my Win2000.
When I try to configure VDT (with wizard or from the panel), it use 100% of the CPU (P4 3Ghz), and nothing happend. At the end, the process must be killed.

Do you have a solution or explanation ?

Yannick

When did you download VDT?
Did it happen the first time you executed or after a few usages?
Does it take 100% immediately once loaded or only when you load the wizard?
Can you give me a step by step explanation so I can try to reproduce the problem on a W2K computer?

I'm trying the lastest version (2.60) and a version before.
It's happend every time, immediately after click on "configure the selected desktop" "add a virtual desktop" "add a desktop"... in the 2nd page of the wizard, or form the VDT window.
The VDT menu in the VDT window do nothing but don't use CPU.
So for me, VDT is completly unusable. But it look like what I'm searching for !
I forget one think : A have two LCD screens, with a wide desktop (2*1280)*1024.
But when I disable the second screen before launch VDT, where is no change.
Last info : I install/uninstall http://www.free-soft.ro/desktop/desktop.html

Ok, I will look at this this WE, but I have to install a W2K computer before.
I will continue this thread to give you feedback.

However, what you can first try is to download from my web site http://www.r2d2-software.com/VDT/VDTSetup.EXE and use this version.

Well, I've just tried on a W2k Pro SP3 computer and I cannot reproduce your problem (I load the new desktop properties quite immediately). Can you give me more information about your computer: OS version and language, network(s) used, anti-virus (and its configuration), ...

Moreover, can you please download here  http://www.r2d2-software.com/VDT/VDTSetup.EXE and try again.
