Well, this should work properly. Are you using the latest version of VDT?

Okay...Well as usual..I didn't provide enough information...lol....I did just download the 2.72.1

To switch to and from VDT's I used to right mouse click on the border.  Not only does this feature not work since adding the second monitor...... now....

When I right click on the VD Toolbox in the btm right hand corner, then select Setting, then Virtual Screen.....the Mouse Switch Mode is Disabled and Subdued....

What did I do wrong??....lol.

Thanks for all your help!

The mouse switch is disabled by default when using multiple monitors. You have to manually enable it by editing the registry. Go there (last post) for more information http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=38157&subForumID=77627&action=viewTopic&commentID=5191954&topicPage=0

Okay,..that worked...partially...I think I know why but don't know how to fix it...Let's see if I can describe it well enough...lol..

I have two VDT's...named Dawson (Line 1, Column 1) and J.T. (Line 1, Column 2).  You helped me a few months ago start VDT in J.T.  Using "Mouse click with right button on the border" I can click on the left border of the screen and flip from J.T. to Dawson.  But once there, I can't right click on the right border of Dawson to get back to J.T.

I wonder if this is because the left border of J.T. is in/on the Primary Monitor, and the right border of Dawson is in/on the secondary Monitor?  Am I close?...lol.

Thanks again,

Jtlinx

That's why the mouse switch is disabled when using multiple monitors. Monitors can be organized in a rectangle area (virtual screen) at your convenience, even with different resolutions. The border of a monitor usually doesn't match the virtual screen's border.

I will however look for a solution and post more information when available.

Hello again,

I just wanted to report that the "mouse click with right button on border" on the right border of Dawson as mentioned above (or below) does actually work...only on the Primary Monitor though...I stumbled on it early this morning....

As I have my dual monitors set up in windows, I slide to the right to switch to the secondary monitor....If I move really, really, and I mean really slow...just as the mouse disappeares to slide to the secondary monitor...I can right click and it will switch to my other VDT.....

Just wanted to let you know that it does work though...lol...Any way you can fix it to where it will switch from the secondary monitor?  No worries though!!!

Take care,

jtlinx...
